you break it , you pay for it
got Euro problems? hair of the dog what bit ya
the best way to solve a problem with run-away debt from stupid market maneouvres
is to take out more debt.
The Euro boys at the ECB have seen Ireland's banks use toxic financial tools
used to take out massive leverage, causing all of Ireland's banks to fail.
So what does the ECB do? it takes out more toxic financial instruments,
baptises them as 'good loans',
even though they're backed by other 15 Euro countries like Portugal
and Spain, but not Greece,
and gives the loans to idiots in the Irish gov, for them to give to their banks.
So, it's more new market bullcrap to cover up for old market bullcrap, so thateven though they're backed by other 15 Euro countries like Portugal
and Spain, but not Greece,
and gives the loans to idiots in the Irish gov, for them to give to their banks.
the big Euro banks in Germany and Holland don't lose a penny of their investment.
what a tangled web we weave. Not me, and not you, those banking f%^&kers who are
enslaving us through their own stupidity and malfeasance.
Now, it's a game of 10 little Indians.
When Portugal gets a loan, it will be paid for by loans and toxic instruments from 14 countries [15, minus itself], and so on...

What Will Happen When Ireland’s Guarantors Need a Bailout?

It is often said that a definition of insanity is to do the same action over and over again, each time expecting a different result. In that case, the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF), Ireland’s single-largest creditor, is a 21st century Bedlam.
Originally set up as a temporary measure, the EFSF was created in June 2010 in order to preserve the financial stability of the euro area by providing financial assistance to member states who found themselves in difficulty. It does this by selling bonds, and from the money raised it provides funds (with interest) to the financially-distressed states.
The EFSF takes bad loans, and by putting them together, turns them into good loans. It uses a financial instrument similar to that used by institutions in the run-up to the 2008 financial meltdown - whereby subprime mortgages were bundled together with other loans and sold as one good loan. These instruments are known as collateralised debt obligations.
In February 2011 the Financial Times explained that, technically, the EFSF is not a collateralised debt special purpose vehicle obligation
[oh, I see the difference xD- Costick67]
but a pool that essentially guarantees and loans from stronger euro members to give it a top triple A credit rating.’ The difference, however, is in definition, not in usage.
The economist Nouriel Roubini wrote in January 2011 that the EFSF was an instrument whereby ‘you take a bunch of dodgy less than AAA sovereigns (& some semi-insolvent) and try to package a vehicle that gets [an] AAA rating’. And it is this process of bundling bad debt into bonds which are guaranteed by good lenders which makes it akin to the ‘financial weapons of mass destruction’ which almost brought down the US and European banking systems.
The loans are still bad, the sovereign states are still distressed - it is only the guarantee that has changed. The bonds are valued not so much on the loans themselves, but on the guarantee which comes with them.
The risk has not gone away. It has merely shifted from one place to another, from bad lenders onto good.
The reasons why the sovereign states find themselves distressed in the first place are not addressed in any shape or form.

Mcdonald's hires 50 000 people, just like that. I'm doubtin' it!
Now that the US is suffering through high unemployment, it's important for the government
to send out a positive message about new jobs, even though they will most likely be mcjobs.
However, the newsreaders will only say
"Dateline: Fox! Good news! the number of new jobs this month is X"
in that fake way they've been taught, so as to fool the indifferent and the stoopid.
in that fake way they've been taught, so as to fool the indifferent and the stoopid.
So, the government has cooked up this deal with Mcdonald's. The government pays
McDonald's for them to hire 50 000 people that they don't need.
Don't be surprised, this is how the US gov runs the stock market too.
They are doing this so that the numbers of new jobs will go up.
Since there's no 'sales' positions for these people once they're hired,
they will wait to replace the inevitable
staff losses due to:
-quitting in frustration (including "going postal" with a semi-automatic)-simply going insane
-"do you want fries with that" burnout
-firing
-untoward unionising activity
-taking too many sick days off
-dying due to long-term, pre-existing illness not covered by health insurance
Until such time as this happens, the rest of
the shameful 50 000 will go into 'advertising' posts,
wearing clownface Ronald-style

where they can embarrass themselves and their families.
And if they sick or get shot,
their mcjob will not be paying much of their health care expenses,

Then, the 'performance associates' can take their 'transferable skills'

McDonald's plans to hire 50,000 workers in a single day
McDonalds has long battled against the depiction that all its jobs are relatively low-skilled ones, popularly known as 'McJobs'.
By Richard Blackden, US Business Editor 11:01PM BST 04 Apr 2011 Bloomberg
The fast-food chain intends to take on the workers on April 19 at many of its 14,000 outlets across the US, as it seeks to fill jobs ranging from restaurant managers to those serving burgers.
The company admits that hiring 50,000 people on a single day is a publicity stunt, but one that will also help it fill the vacancies as more people hear about it.
The jobs, says McDonalds, are a mix of of full-time and part-time and are partly to cope with a seasonal increase in demand over the summer as well as a response to an improving economy.
McDonalds has long battled against the depiction that all its jobs are relatively low-skilled ones, popularly known as 'McJobs'.
Some economists have warned that some of the jobs the US recovery is creating don't match the wages of those positions, particularly in a booming construction and housebuilding trade, that were lost to the recession. ....

Look up, way up, there's some radiation
No, not the sun, you sh*thead.
Fukushima Iodine 131 (8-day halflife) radiation.
It's floating up there.
Coming to a water source near you!
Isn't it amazing how well it floats on air currents?
It could slowly kill all of us.
Anyway, every country has got a dose by now.
In the US, the sickening consumer-society media
is trying to keep people spending, so cannot dare to shock them
with news of radiation.
Ann Coulter, one of the Miss Republican contestants

has told the US that radiation is "good for you."
It'll melt away pimples, as well as the rest of your facial skin.
[oops. this might have been from a porno]
If Ann Coulter says that radiation is good for you,
three things are certain,
it's coming,
it'll maim or kill you, painfully, and
Ann Coulter has shares in big pharma (potassium iodide pills)
nuclear plants (government welfare)
private hospitals (cancer is costly!).
That's why she's dis-truthing.
Financial interest- D-uuh. Winning! (Sheen-style)
Our bodies make crucial Vitamin D when they come in contact
with radiation from the sun.
But, if we're out and some iodine radiation
floats past,
the iodine can invade our lymphatic system,
unless we take potassium iodide pills first.

"If There Were a Reactor Meltdown or Major Leak at Fukushima, the Radioactive Cloud Would Likely be Blown Out ... Towards the US West Coast"
Submitted by George Washington on 03/13/2011 02:29 -0400
Agence-France Presse notes:
California is closely monitoring efforts to contain leaks from a quake-damaged Japanese nuclear plant, a spokesman said Saturday, as experts said radiation could be blown out across the Pacific.
"At present there is no danger to California. However we are monitoring the situation closely in conjunction with our federal partners," Michael Sicilia, spokesman for
California Department of Public Health, told AFP.
"California does have radioactivity monitoring systems in place for air, water and the food supply and can enhance that monitoring if a danger exists," he added.
Experts have suggested that, if there were a reactor meltdown or major leak at Fukushima, the radioactive cloud would likely be blown out east across the Pacific, towards the US West Coast.
"The wind direction for the time being seems to point the (nuclear) pollution towards the Pacific," said Andre-Claude Lacoste of the French Nuclear Safety Authority, briefing journalists in Paris on the Japanese crisis.
Earlier the NRC said it was "examining all available information as part of the effort to analyze the event and understand its implications both for Japan and the United States."

trades, and at least we'd get some money out of the banks, but govs are not listening.

If you want to start a riot, call the police. If you want 'rioters' to kill people effectively... what do you think?
In Greece, 2 people were killed in the Crisis riots, making Greeks look bloodthirsty.

You would think that the budget cuts which are rumoured to be the excuse for cutting 1000 police in London alone, would cause the Force to be on the side of the protesters, not the government.
Naturally, the police would not want to destroy their own righteous union movement, or their own city?

Police Stand By As Colleagues in Plain Clothes Break Windows

At 5.54 of this BBC footage, an 'anarchist' shows his pass to police and moves through the lines.
We are already seeing the first indications that plain clothes officers were moving between the violent protesters and the police at Saturday's demonstration. The police have infiltrated anarchist and revolutionary communist groups for decades.
One undercover officer, Mark Kennedy, has spoken at length about his work. Those he targeted have complained that he was inciting them to be more violent:
They allege that he also made visits to Dublin to help train protesters and encouraged other activists to attack the police. This raises further questions about his role as an undercover officer and backs up suggestions he acted as an agent provocateur. [from the Guardian, emphasis added]
The police don't simply infiltrate these groups to gather information about them, they seek to shape their dynamics. They encourage splits and they promote those whose agenda suits their own. They endeavour always to have the extra-parliamentary left they want, the kind of left that can be relied on to distract attention from issues of substance and matters of general concern....

A sixth police officer has been unmasked as an undercover spy in the protest movement as it emerged that Mark Kennedy, who spent seven years posing as an environmental activist, is considering suing Scotland Yard.
In an interview with the Guardian Weekend magazine, Kennedy, who went "rogue" and offered to help environmental campaigners accused of planning to break into a power station, says he has suffered severe post-traumatic stress disorder and has been suicidal. His lawyers have been instructed to consider legal action against the police.
The latest officer was reported to have been embedded in an anti-capitalist group for four years under the fake name of Simon Wellings. Newsnight on BBC2 reported that his true identity was discovered through a police blunder.....

why did we bother fighting? the Germans have won
We capitulate. Germany finally took over Euroland, as of last week.
One by one, all the peripheral Euro countries will default and get bailed out by Germany.
So, why did our ancestors fight the Germans? They've ended up with most of the Eurozone under their control, anyway. and without firing a single bullet.
You know I'm not serious, but look at the number of lives lost in WW2.
Look at the fact that most wars are of an economic nature. The leaders can't sort out their economic differences and then they send people like us into war.
What we are going through now is an economic war between currency blocks,
BUTT, Greece will have to sell off everything that it owns in common, in order to keep in Germany's good books. Power company, water companies, buildings, land, all of it. Greeks won't stand for it.
Ireland was supposed to give up its 12.5% corporation tax (higher than France's)
in order to get a break on its payments. "No dice" said Ireland. So, Germany cancelled their gift.
Portugal is next. However, I'll be surprised if Germany can handle bailing out Spain and Italy,
because they'll come begging soon.
One last solution could be found by Germans voters. If they don't want to bail out the rest of the Euro countries, they'll turf out Merkel. The next PM might take Germany out of the Euro and
let those broke countries starve for a couple of years. It might even hasten the end of fiat money.
Lately, Merkel's party has lost two regional elections. Was this caused by the Euro crisis? This German prof I know says it isn't. He says it was local politics, but I doubt it.

U.S. Aircraft Carrier Leaves Japan Port of Yokosuka as Precautionary Step

“Moving the USS George Washington is a precaution given the capabilities of the vessel and the complex nature of the disaster,” the 7th Fleet said in a press release. “The forward deployed carrier is scheduled to remain in the local waters off Japan.”
U.S. Navy ships and helicopters have been involved in rescue efforts following the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami that hit Japan’s Tohoku region on March 11. Radiation detected on U.S. aircrews operating near Fukushima prompted the relocation of some ships on March 14.
“We’ve seen nothing that rises to the level that would be harmful to human health,” Commander Jeff Davis, a Seventh Fleet spokesman, said in a phone interview from Yokosuka, about 30 miles south of Tokyo.
The battle to prevent a meltdown at the Fukushima Dai-Ichi nuclear power station entered its 12th day as reports increased of radiation contamination at sea and on land. Radiation levels found so far in food aren’t harmful, Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano said at a press conference yesterday.
Tokyo Electric Power Co. said fuel rods at the plant have been damaged, releasing five kinds of radioactive material and contaminating seawater for the first time.

I have a friend in the military who just tweeted:
"Captain of the USS Reagan [aircraft carrier] told the crew to make video conferences home cause they dont know how sick they might get."
Have not confirmed yet but he's an honest guy so take it for what it is...

towards the end of WW2
despite Japanese willingness to surrender
the Americans flattened two cities with the A-Bomb,
rode in triumphantly and set up shop.
Their army base has drunk Okinawa dry,
and committed no shortage of moral outrage.

Everybody in Japan wants them to leave, but there's no way they're going.
Or, so I thought.
Japan essentially became, and to some extent still is, a colony of the US.
So the smelly Americans tell the Japs what to do, regularly.
I'll bet the Americans forced Japan to buy American GE nuclear cookers, and the US didn't understand the Japanese when they expressed their opposition
oh, so politely.
So, the Japanese raised the stakes by putting
some of the reactors near a faultline, by the sea, in Fukushima,
and then giving the management to TEPCO.

They certainly are brave, willing to take a nuke cloud, just to get rid of the
Yanksters. And they had to wait 40 years for the right conditions:
technical incompetence, nukes, earthquake, tsunami, incompetence
for the plan to come to fruition.
for the plan to come to fruition.
I suppose the emperor Akihito had been waiting in his palace thinking:
Priceless! The plan is working like a charm.
The Yank army and navy are leaving!
The Yank army and navy are leaving!
How many of you guys would be willing to nuke your own country to get invaders to leave?
